BIO
Simone Rotella is a freelance illustrator and graphic designer working between London and Turin (Italy).
For over 8 years he is been working for various publishing houses, magazines, NGOs, cultural institutions and AD agencies. He is also an author of graphic novels. He likes to give an oneiric sensation to his drawings, adding particular details that engage the eye of the observer and open an imaginative dialogue. A rigorous research of colour combinations and a search for cinematic point of views are two main aspects of his approach. His sources of inspiration are: Ferenc Pinter, Sergio Toppi, Dora Maar and Lee Krasner.
From his Turin studio he works predominantly on editorial commissions, but has also created murals, t-shirts and animations in his time too.
